The company’s mission is to transform the way people shop and eat, by connecting consumers, restaurants, shops and riders. They’re always innovating, and looking for new ways to put the best of the neighbourhood at the customer’s fingertips.
To make this vision a reality, Deliveroo needs to employ thousands of specialists across a number of sectors. This requires careers platform that is both engaging for candidates, and deeply integrated from a technical point of view to support high-volume, global hiring.

Central to the project was the challenge of connecting Deliveroo’s hiring system into an engaging and on-brand user experience. The site doesn’t just show roles, but also syncs data directly with their application tracking system to avoid duplication and ensure consistency across platforms. Candidates can move through the entire application journey without friction, with an interface that ‘feels’ just like the Deliveroo app.
The site also supports scalability, which is essential for a fast-moving organisation like Deliveroo. Leveraging the flexibility of WordPress, recruiters can manage content pages for regions, functions and teams as well as engaging employee stories. The structures and layouts are fully controlled by editors, without needed constant code changes or development updates.
When it came to design, we worked closely with Deliveroo’s brand team to translate their evolving identity into a digital experience. Motion and animation were used purposefully throughout. It was important we added design details not just for visual appeal, but to reinforce brand recognition and guide the user across complex journeys.
The result is a careers platform that balances performance with personality: a fast, responsive site underpinned by real-time ATS connectivity, and designed to attract top talent at scale. Continuous iteration has allowed us to expand the site’s functionality over time, introducing new integrations, features and content types as Deliveroo’s business and hiring strategy evolves.
