Is your website AIR ready?
About the AIR framework
The best charity and non-profit websites must successfully balance a range of priorities. We’ve distilled these into three areas: Audience, Impact, and Responsibility. We call this AIR.
Our AIR framework measures the effectiveness of your website in each of these areas, by looking at a number of different performance factors.
The AIR criteria
Unlike other website evaluation frameworks, we created AIR to focus on the challenges faced by charitable organisations, and those looking to make a difference.
By splitting our criteria across three key areas, we cover what matters most.
Audience
Using audience data and feedback we’ll pinpoint issues faced by users when it comes to completing key tasks. These tasks might include learning about your organisation or making a donation. We’ll determine how effectively people are engaging with your content, and where there are opportunities to improve the user experience.
Impact
Leveraging our knowledge of the charity sector we’ll measure the reach and impact of your messaging. We’ll determine whether your site stands out amongst competitors, and is doing the right things to be noticed by humans and search engines alike.
Responsibility
To meet both audience expectations and government legislation, your organisation should be upholding high standards for sustainability and inclusivity. Taking a responsible approach means investing in your digital experiences. We’ll determine whether your website is putting people and the planet first.
A mindset that underpins everything we do
AIR isn’t just an approach to our work. It’s an ethos we live and breathe. It reflects our values, and how we make a difference.
